2015 Barolo DOCG "Buon Padre", Piedmont, Italy

A slightly dried, planty and earthy nose of ripe red and a little black berries with notes of foliage and undergrowth and a hint of tobacco and tar. Clear, firm, tangy-juicy fruit, fine tannin and some acid bite, a hint of citrus fruits, hinted at cocoa, also tobacco notes, salt in the background, has freshness, good depth, quite complex, still very young, very good, tight, tangy-juicy finish with draught.
