2015 Barolo DOCG Bricco delle Viole Riserva, Piedmont, Italy

Firm, tart, tobacco and slightly peppery aroma of red and a little black berries with dried herbal aromas and some juniper. Clear, fine-juicy, tart, almost cool fruit, present, very fine tannin, tobacco and a little coffee-spicy aromas, a little liquorice, peppery nuances, good depth, elegant, almost fragrant style, still undeveloped, chalk and salt in the background, also a little rust, meaty tones, very good, tight, tart finish. Still needs to mature.
