2018 Chianti Classico DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Firm aroma of ripe mainly black berries with nutty aromas, some dried herbs, hints of sour cherries and a touch of tar. Tight, juicy, rather dark fruit, present tannin and bite, herbal-vegetable tones, a hint of tea and citrus zest, good persistence, a lot of power, but the high alcohol binds itself perfectly with air, liquorice in the background, very good, firm finish with coffee notes, fermentation tones reminiscent of tea and a lot of dark juice. Unusually black-fruity type.
