2016 Romagna DOC Sangiovese Riserva Laurento, Emilia Romagna, Italy

Tart nose, light dried vegetal notes and a hint of tobacco, black berries and a hint of cherries, delicate spicy oak, earthy traces. Both tart and sweetish dark fruit on the palate, nutty oak, still has light toasted notes, fairly prominent fine tannins, light acid bite, good persistence, full body, light spicy notes and a hint of bacon on a good to very good finish.
