2015 Rubicone IGT Sangiovese-Cabernet Sauvignon Liano, Emilia Romagna, Italy

Firm nose, black berries and a hint of cherries, moderate, lightly toasted oak, hint of tobacco, spicy and nutty traces, whiff of leather. Ripe, slightly sweetish fruit on the palate, spicy, lightly toasted oak, some cocoa, youthful, integrated, sandy tannins, medium body, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, fairly good persistence, some bacon and animal notes in the background, smoky traces, good to very good finish.
