1999 D.O. Ribera del Duero Reserva Tinto Pesquera, Castilla y León, Spain

Deep matt garnet. Very smoky nose, cherries and black berries, with black roasted notes. Quite juicy, but also slightly superficial, lots of smoky, roasted notes, lots of astringent tannins, powerful, not all that much depth, attrractive finish.
