2020 Toscana IGT "Maurizio Fuselli", Tuscany, Italy

Firm and quite deep, somewhat ethereal aroma of ripe black berries with a little liquorice, cherries, tobacco, pepper, moderate wood notes, leather and hints of juniper and Mediterranean herbs. Emphasises tart, still extremely youthful, firm black fruit, dried herbal, slightly peppery and hints of smoky tones, again a little juniper, present tannin, a lot of power, but also a certain bite, parsley and fine mushroom notes on the palate, hints of cocoa, cola nut, tobacco and smoke, with air more juice and at the same time more chocolate, some salt in the background, still completely undeveloped, good depth, very good, firm, juicy and again chocolaty finish with persistence. Definitely needs to mature.
