DOC area for red, rosé and white wines in the Italian region of Piedmont. The name means "bank of the Sesia". The zone covers almost 30 hectares of vineyards west of the Sesis river with the municipalities of Brusnengo, Candelo, Cerreto Castello, Cossato, Curino, Lessona, Masserano, Mottalciata, Quaregna, Sostegno, Valdengo, Vigliano Biellese and Villa del Bosco in the province of Biella, and the municipalities of Gattinara, Lozzolo, Roasio and Serravalle Sesia in the province of Vercelli.
