2017 Etna DOC Rosso "Santo Spirito", Sicily, Italy

Taut and deep, fresh aroma of red and a little black berries with tomato aromas, tobacco, a touch of tar as well as peppery and earthy nuances. Concentrated, juicy, relatively dark, quite fresh fruit, nutty, tobacco and earthy tones, some cocoa and a touch of coffee grounds on the palate, youthful, yet quite fine tannin, has melting and at the same time grip, clear minerality, good depth, quite complex, very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
