2018 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Sulz Sauvignon Blanc trocken "Joseph", Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Youthful, relatively cool, polished fragrance with white and yellow fruity aromas, light floral tones, hinted white pepper, a hint of yeast, a touch of candy and clear minerality. Ripe, melt-in-the-mouth, partly candied, juicy fruit, moderate acidity and some touch of crumbly tannin, yeasty nuances, nutty to slightly woody nuances, good persistence and substance, a hint of caramel, warming alcohol, floral and mineral tones, gains complexity and depth with air, very good, warm, slightly spicy and sweetish-melt-in-the-mouth finish. Must mature
