2016 Süd-Steiermark Ried Sulz Sauvignon Blanc trocken Joseph, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm, surprisingly cool nose, grassy and herbaceous notes, citrus and green berries, some quinces, intense mineral notes. Full-bodied, creamy and juicy on the palate, ripe fruit, very elegant, polished acidity, integrated tannins provide some grip, persistent, noticeable warm alcohol, but also has cool elements, light spicy vegetal notes, prominent earthy and mineral notes, hint of dark berries and dried flowers in the background, salty traces, very good, slightly spicy and fairly creamy finish.
