2015 Süd-Steiermark Ried Czamillonberg Sauvignon Reserve trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm, fairly tart nose, prominent green vegetal notes, hint of bacon, intense mineral notes, yellow and green fruit, elderflower, green tobacco, whiff of broccoli, peppery traces. Ripe, creamy, slightly warm fruit on the palate, some sugar candy, prominent vegetal aromas, earthy and mineral notes, hint of caramel, buttery traces, moderate acidity, restrained, integrated tannins, hint of dark berries in the background, persistent, some spicy oak in the background, touch of fat-rich nuts, good depth, hint of peanut butter, very good long, warm finish. Needs time to develop.
