2009 Süd-Steiermark Ratsch Scheurebe trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Elderberry flowers and cassis on the nose, light stalky notes. Uncomplicated style, moderate apple and melon fruit on the palate, touch of blackcurrants, herbs and spices, gentle acidity, good varietal character, not particularly deep, approachable, attractive finish.
