2006 Süd-Steiermark Ried Sulz Sauvignon Blanc **** Joseph Reserve, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Prominent spicy oak on the nose, partly dried pomaceous fruit, some honeydew melon, peppery and herbaceous notes, light smoky notes. Very juicy and slightly sweet on the palate, integrated spicy oak, creamy and full-bodied, elegant acidity, herbaceous and mineral notes in the background, good persistence and some depth, very good finish.
