2002 Süd-Steiermark Sauvignon Blanc trocken Joseph ****, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Lots of honey on the nose, partly dried and candied pomaceous fruit, roasted, spicy oak. Elegantly juicy fruit in the mouth, very creamy, prominent oak, but quite well integrated, full-bodied, high in alcohol, persistent on the ´palate, medium depth, good finish. Quite lively in spite of the liberal use of oak.
