2016 Meersburg Rieschen Grauburgunder trocken ***, Baden, Germany

Light vegetal and floral notes on the nose, citrus and pomaceous fruit, some apricot, still has delicate yeasty notes, floral traces, hint of bacon, delicate cheesy traces, earthy and mineral notes in the background. Ripe, fairly juicy, creamy fruit on the palate, more prominent apricot, fairly warm and quite soft in style, elegant acidity, light nutty oak, light, slightly sandy tannic grip, fairly persistent, noticeable high alcohol, sugar candy in the background, not particularly deep, light vegetal and earthy notes, more noticeable warm alcohol and banana fruit on a good to very good finish.
