2015 Meersburg Rieschen Spätburgunder trocken, Baden, Germany

Fairly earthy and old oak, predominantly red berries and some cherries, slightly sweaty, mushy and vegetal notes. Soft, slightly jammy fruit on the palate, sweetish spicy oak, mature tannins and floral traces, nutty notes, fairly persistent, slightly spicy, some cocoa, warm alcohol, good, slightly mushy, spicy oak, some more malted notes on the palate, malted notes.
