Bright, distinctly herbal and slightly mushroomy nose with a little muted yellow fruity notes, hints of yellow spice, a touch of caraway, breadcrumbs, hints of black berries and mineral tones. Cool, restrained, bright, tart fruit, very fine acidity and some grip, chalky, yeasty and slightly tobacco notes, a little herbal and mushroomy on the palate, good persistence, has grip, fennel seeds in the background, very good finish.

Best to drink: 2023-2028+. What our ratings mean
