2020 Randersacker Pfülben Riesling Grosses Gewächs, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm, cool and quite deep, delicately nutty, yeasty and a hint of smoky aroma with calm yellow fruity, a little vegetal, red berry and oily tones. Restrained, tart fruit, fine mushroomy aromas reminiscent of celery, a little nutty, fine acidity, crumbly tannin, still drying very slightly, good persistence, a hint of toasted, buttered breadcrumbs, hints of mushrooms, smoky and mineral tones, also dark berries in the background, very good finish again reminiscent of celery.
