2020 Nierstein Pettenthal Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm and cool, brilliantly pure, floral, still somewhat yeasty fragrance with very fine stone fruit and citrus aromas, herbaceous and planty aromas, a hint of dark berries, oregano, very delicate petrol tones and clear minerality. Lean, polished, again quite noble, juicy fruit, lively, fine acidity, yeasty and herbal aromas, some black berries in the background, persistent, quite mineral, again a touch of petrol, good depth, has tension, very good to long, tight, juicy and mineral finish with cool herbal aromas.
