Firm, very slightly warm aroma of ripe red berries, reminiscent of rose hips, but also black berries with herbal, juniper-etheric and a little floral aromas, slightly tobacco wood, smoky nuances, a touch of beetroot, pepper and hints of mushrooms. Ripe, firm, juicy fruit, fine, youthful tannin and some bite, persistent, some power and density, a little beetroot on the palate, aromatic pepper, a hint of dark chocolate and coffee in the background, smoky nuances, salt in the background, very good, if a little drying, smoky to slightly toasty and a little bacony finish with mushroomy and ethereal-spicy flavours and still a little woody tannin.

Best to drink: Mitte 2023 bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
