2019 Blaufränkisch trocken "Rothe Bach", Rheinhessen, Germany

Lively, somewhat smoky black and red berry nose with dry herb notes, a little pepper, hints of bacon and mineral tones. Taut, cool and pure-toned, lively, rather juicy fruit, smoky and toasty wood aromas, slightly ethereal spice, persistent, quite dense, good depth, distinct minerality in the background, herbal aromas, traces of juniper, elegant style, already animating despite its youth, has freshness, very good, taut, fine-juicy and -spicy finish, again with a little smoke.
