2005 Riesling "Ölberg", Großes Gewächs, Rheinhessen, Germany

Etehreal nose, stone fruit, light vegetal notes, herbs and spices, mineral notes. Firm on the palate, concentrated and quite lively, still slightly closed, compact stone fruit, still partly hidden by herbs and spices, mineral notes with some petrol, has substance and depth, cool in spite of the noticeable alcohol, shows terroir and vineyard site identity, attractive long finish.
