2005 Riesling trocken Rotschiefer, Rheinhessen, Germany

Slightly muted nose, hint of must pears, vegetal notes, some mienral notes develop with extensive aeration. Overripe pears and partly fermented apples on the palate, more vegetal notes, integrated, mature acidity, medium-bodied and dry, fairly tranquil style, gains some depth with aeration, and mineral notes develop, attractive finish.
