2012 Garda DOC Classico Superiore Madér, Lombardy, Italy

Tart, fairly firm nose, predominantly black berries and sojur cherries, dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, hint of tobacco, peppery traces andsome undergrowth. Firm, juicy fruit on the palate, toasted, spicy oak, some cocoa and a hint of tobacco, elegant acid bite, fairly prominent ripe tannins, herbaceous traces in the background, some licorice, persistent and full-bodied, some depth, salty traces, very good firm, juicy, spicy finish.
