DOC area for red, rosé and white wines in the north-west corner of the Italian region of Sardinia. The zone covers in its entirety the municipalities of Alghero, Ittiri, Olmedo, Ossi, Tissi, Uri and Usini, as well as a part of Sassari in the province of Sassari. The largest Sardinian winery Sella & Mosca is located in the provincial capital Alghero. The pure variety wines must contain at least 85% of the respective variety, the rest can be other approved ones.
