2005 Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC Rosso Scuro, Friuli/Venezia-Giulia, Italy

Preserved mixed berries, some cherries and plums on the nose, smoky and light roasted notes. Light oak on the palate, smoky and roasted notes, extremely astringent, almost brittle tannins, noticeable alcohol, vegetal notes, not particularly deep, more vegetal notes and high alcohol on the finish.
