2020 Dorsheim Burgberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Deep and firm, somewhat smoky, grippy, herbal and hinted at peppery aroma with distinctly noble yellow fruity aromas, parsley, beeswax, a little seaweed and clear minerality. Dense, tart and delicate in the mouth, restrained, noble light fruit, herbal notes reminiscent of coriander, some yeast, a trace of mussels, hints of grapefruit in the background, very fine acidity and phenolic, persistent, deep and concentrated, weightless, very delicate mushroomy and bacony tones in the background, enormous minerality, has inner calm and at the same time tension, still undeveloped, long, complex, mineral and finely spicy finish, again with coriander and exceptionally noble fruit. Great.
