Editor note: Tart, deep, elegant nose, still slightly closed, firm, very prominent mineral notes, light yellow fruit, light herbaceous notes and floral traces. Very firmly structured, cool, elegant, juicy, bone dry fruit, very elegant acidity, vegetal and herbaceous notes, light floral traces, light yeasty notes, moderate ripe tannins provide elegant grip, prominent tart mineral notes, deep and persistent, still rather closed, compact, but also elegant, almost light-bodied, very good, long, tart, juicy, firm finish.

The production area is located in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany and is named after the river of the same name. There is a lot of preserved evidence of the Romans, who already cultivated wine here. The vineyards cover 4,237 hectares of vines along the river from Hunsrück to the mouth of the Rhine near Bingen.
