2015 Burg Layen Johannisberg Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese Erste Lage, Nahe, Germany

Firm nose, dried vegetal notes and a hint of tobacco, partly candied and dried citrus and stone fruit, yellow spice, dried flowers, fairly prominent mineral notes. Firm, very sweet, concentrated fruit on the palate, fairly prominent acidity, moderate tannic grip, dried vegetal and floral aromas, hint of tobacco, earthy and salty mineral notes, smoky traces, persistent, firm structure, deep and complex, still undeveloped, salty notes, hint of bacon, clear contours, very good, long, juicy finish.
