2013 Dorsheim Goldloch Riesling Extra Brut, Nahe, Germany

A trace developed nose with fine citrus aromas, a little stone fruit, yeasty and mushroomy aromas and delicate floral and waxy hints. Restrained, firm, bone-dry fruit with planty to herbaceous and yeasty aromas, a little currant on the palate, floral nuances, very fine mousseux and some grip, persistent, very delicate melt, a little reminiscent of whipped egg whites, relatively quiet style, almost understated, yet persistent, deep and mineral, a little shellfish in the background, excellent balance, long, cool, fine-textured, delicately creamy finish with draw.
