Editor note: Firm, tart, fairly deep nose, blackberries and a few black cherries, partly dried herbs, some licorice, peppery traces, tobacco and floral traces, mineral notes and undergrowth in the background, Firm, juicy, tart fruit on the palate, light spicy, nutty oak, peppery notes, dried herbs, has bite and grip, persistent, some depth, mineral notes in the background, hint of citrus zests, spicy notes, hint of bacon, still young, hint of tar, clear contours and some grip on a very good, firm, tart, juicy, salty finish.

In Austria, viticulture has been practised since the time of the Celtic settlement almost 3,000 years ago. The Burgenland community of Zagersdorf and the Lower Austrian community of Stillfried in the Weinviertel are considered the oldest winegrowing communities in Austria.
