Fester, somewhat fine-vegetable, nutty, and subtly tobacco-like core and stone fruit aroma with nuances reminiscent of algae, seashells, and fennel. Ripe, rather warm, firm, still somewhat muted fruit with a bit of melt, slightly dark berry hints, and bitter nut tones, fine acidity, tender, relatively present tannin, dense and persistent on the palate, good depth, with background notes of barrel wood, celery, and pepper-like nuances, a certain plant bitterness in the very good finish. Still appears completely closed.
