2018 Wachau Ried Kirchweg Riesling Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Clear, polished and quite cool nose with fine stone fruit aromas, citrus nuances as well as herbaceous-vegetal and delicate floral tones. Fine, quite firm, again very polished fruit, delicate nutty and floral tones, a hint of tobacco, very fine acidity marbling the wine, some melting on the palate, persistent, cool mineral spice, delicate grip, a hint of smoke, elegant style, good depth, quite complex, very good, fine-juicy and -spicy, again mineral, nutty and somewhat tobacco finish. Amazingly quiet and weightless for the vintage
