2015 Wachau Ried Hochrain Grüner Veltliner Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Fairly cool nose, vegetal and herbaceous notes, prominent mineral notes, elegant, tart yellow fruit, vegetal traces, hint of celery and white pepper. Ripe, juicy, concentrated but also polished fruit on the palate, very elegant, lively acidity, light grip provided by integrated tannins, persistent, firm structure, vegetal notes, herbs and spices, nutty and yeasty traces in the background, peppery traces, mineral foundation, still very young, a hint of bitter orange, full-bodied, but remains elegant, complex, excellent depth, very good, long finish.
