2014 Wachau Ried Achleiten Riesling Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Astringent, cool, dried vegetable and clearly mineral fragrance with rather reserved yellow fruity aromas, light floral and delicate tobacco tones and dried soup herbs in the background. Firm, ripe, tangy-juicy fruit with distinct herbal-vegetable spiciness, tobacco nuances and intensive minerality, fine, lively acidity, persistent on the palate, excellent substance and depth, certain enamel, but above all a lot of grip and fine bite, still quite young, but already perfectly balanced, very good to long, tangy-juicy, mineral and herbal finish. Masterly.
