2006 Wachau Ried Achleiten Riesling Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Delicately mature nose, fairly prominent mineral notes, elegant spice, mature pomaceous fruit, peaches and citrus fruit, cool vegetal notes. Clear, polished, elegant juicy fruit on the palate, spicy vegetal notes, delicately tart nutty notes, fairly prominent, very elegant acidity, earthy and mineral notes in the background, hint of tobacco, full-bodied but also quite cool, good persistence, slightly warm alcohol, creamy on a firm, tart finish that is very good and long.
