2021 Pinot Noir trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Very slightly nutty and dried-vegetable to -floral scent of more red than black berries with restrained barrel tones and a little dried mushrooms. Clear, tangy fruit with slightly smoky and nutty wood tones, some bite, fine sandy, youthful tannin, good persistence, some power, warm and cool elements, hints of resin, mineral tones in the background, a little cocoa, good to very good, tart, still drying finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2023 bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
