2017 Barolo DOCG Rocche dell'Annunziata, Piedmont, Italy

Dried planty to herbaceous, iodine and very slightly meaty nose with red and also a little black berry aromas, leather, a little pepper and floral notes. Clear, juicy, tart fruit, nutty, spicy, iodine and again a little leathery tones, a little bitter chocolate in the background, some acid bite, fine, youthful tannin, chalky and salty tones, also dried herbs, very slightly ethereal, has power, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish.
