Rocche Costamagna
Winery Wines Files 3

2015 Barolo DOCG Rocche dell'Annunziata, Piedmont, Italy

Astringent, rather tobacco-like and slightly tarry fragrance with red-berry aromas, hinted at iodine and black berries as well as dried floral and earthy nuances. Clear, ripe, quite juicy fruit with moderate, somewhat nutty wood spice, quite crumbly tannin, good persistence, dried floral, tobacco and earthy nuances, a hint of coffee in the background, mineral tones, very good, quite firm finish with lots of red juice and spicy and slightly tobacco aromas.
