2019 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione "Vigna Gittori 50", Tuscany, Italy

Warm, quite deep, somewhat tobacco and juniper-like, more black than red berry nose with dried meaty nuances, a little iodine, dried flowers, tobacco and tar. Ripe, again warm, partly preserved, with air increasingly fresh and juicy fruit, crumbly tannin, ethereal and almost a little oriental spice, cocoa and coffee on the palate, persistent, lots of power and warmth, a touch of malt in the background, a little juniper and iodine, also salty mineral hints, very good, again ethereal-spicy finish with warm juice.
