2018 Barolo DOCG Cannubi, Piedmont, Italy

Clear, accessible, predominantly red berry scent with a hint of plums, floral nuances and a hint of juniper. Ripe, juicy, quite polished fruit, slightly darker than in the nose moderately smoky and toasty aromas, a little pepper, allspice and juniper, some acid bite, youthful, relatively fine tannin, has power, salt in the background, a hint of citrus zest, very good, relatively firm, juicy, toasty, smoky and also salty-mineral finish with warmth but also bite.
