2018 Mittelburgenland DAC Ried Fabian Blaufränkisch trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Youthful aroma of partly preserved, predominantly dark berries and cherries with floral, delicately herbal and hints of pepper. Tart, dark fruit with bitter chocolate and some coffee spice, fine tannin, light bite and some power, salty hints, good persistence, a hint of pepper, very good, tart finish with dark wood spice and some noticeable alcohol.
