2004 Barolo DOCG Cannubi, Piedmont, Italy

Translate to English Straffer, etwas neuholzwürziger Duft nach reifen, teils kandierten und eingemachten roten und etwas schwarzen Beeren mit ein wenig Zwetschgen und Kirschen, kandiertem Ingwer, Lack, kandiert-floralen und -kräuterigen Aromen, ein wenig Tabak, einer Spur Lakritz und recht deutlicher Mineralik. Straff gewirkte, recht saftige, relativ kühle Frucht im Mund, erdige und nussige Aromen, integriertes Holz, präsente, feine Säure und straffes Tannin, nachhaltig am Gaumen, im Hintergrund erdig-mineralisch, getrocknet-florale Aromen, ein wenig eingelegte Kirschen, zart vegetabile Aromen, hat Biss und gewisse Tiefe, gewinnt mit Luft an Zug und Saftigkeit, sehr guter Abgang. Sollte auf jeden Fall noch reifen.
