2016 Toscana IGT "Le Diacce", Tuscany, Italy

Somewhat developed, slightly fleshy-animalic and tobacco aroma of black and a little red berries, dried vegetables, black olives, peppers and roasted mushrooms. Ripe, rather tart fruit with dried vegetable to tobacco notes, bitter chocolate, a little coffee and liquorice, again minty tones in the background, good persistence, medium power, rather friable, a hint of drying tannin, dried pepper in the background, very good, toasty, slightly bitterish-woody, peppery and somewhat malty finish.
