Delicately smoky and herbaceous-vegetable scent of more black than red berries with a hint of paprika. Tart and juicy fruit with some smoky spice, herbal and planty notes, a little pepper as well as tobacco and nutty hints, fine sandy, predominantly friable tannin, good persistence, some bite, a hint of cocoa in the background, salty hints, very good, spicy and tart and juicy finish.

Editor note: Quite firm aroma of ripe predominantly black berries, some smoke, cedar wood, dried tomatoes and black olives as well as a little Mediterranean herbs in the background. Ripe, rather tart fruit, nutty, slightly tobacco and dried vegetal notes, again reminiscent of tomatoes and black olives, a little smoky and bacony on the palate, medium power, good to very good, tart finish.
