Editor note: Light vegetal and herbaceous notes on the nose, citrus and pomaceous fruit, light floral traces. Clear, polished,.elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, elegant acidity, vegetal and nutty traces, fairly persistent, yeasty traces in the background, very pleasant to drink, good finish.
DOC area (also Isonzo del Friuli) for a wide range of red, rosé and white wines in the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The zone crossed by the river Isonzo, which gives its name to the region, extends to the Slovenian border. It completely covers the municipalities of Gradisca d'Isonzo, Mariano del Friuli, Medea, Moraro, Romans d'Isonzo, San Pier d'Isonzo, Turriaco, Villesse e parte di Capriva del Friuli, Cormons, Farra d'Isonzo, Fogliano di Redipuglia, Gorizia, Monfalcone, Mossa, Ronchi dei Legionari, Sagrado, San Canzian d'Isonzo, San Lorenzo Isontino, Savogna d'Isonzo and Staranzano in the province of Gorizia (Gorizia).
