2017 Bolgheri Superiore DOC Ornellaia "Solare", Tuscany, Italy

Firm and deep, multi-layered bouquet of predominantly black berries and some cherries with peppery and minty-herbal aromas, some tobacco, cocoa, liquorice and dried floral notes. Juicy, dense, tightly woven and very ripe fruit, present, crumbly tannin and a little bit into the chocolaty wood spice, peppery and minty tones on the palate, again a little liquorice, lasting on the palate, very concentrated and complex, has despite its enormous power also freshness, a little salt in the background, compact structure, with air tighter and even deeper,
