2011 Bolgheri Superiore DOC Ornellaia, Tuscany, Italy

Very firm and deep, rather tart scent of blackcurrants, blueberries and sour cherries with a hint of dark chocolate, very fine spicy and herbal nuances and a hint of soy. Dense and juicy in the mouth, ripe, very concentrated, yet polished, rather tart fruit, fine chocolaty and spicy aromas, very fine, still youthful and a trace of drying tannin, deep and persistent on the palate, very delicate buttery nuances, in the background also traces of herbs, tobacco and cedar wood, very harmonious, but still completely undeveloped, extremely firm build, a little coconut and coffee in the background, cooling elements, has with all its power amazing elegance, very good to long, juicy finish
