2005 Bolgheri Superiore DOC Ornellaia, Tuscany, Italy

Fairly cool nose, prominent spicy oak, light vegetal notes, preserved cherries and mixed berries, mineral notes, hint of tobacco. Full-bodied and juicy on the palate, quite concentrated, ripe, sweetish and creamy fruit, integrated oak, fairly prominent but very fine tannins, very polished, excellent depth and persistence, light hint of bougat in the background, good long finish.
